My GBS Story

At first, I thought it was just intense fatigue, something I could sleep off. However the weakness was progressing so quickly, and time was of the essence. I was scared. Little did I know, my immune system was launching a full-scale attack on my body. As a doctor, I was suddenly thrust into the vulnerable position of a patient, confronted with the fragility of life.

Over time, friends of friends who knew I have GBS began reaching out for advice. What started as occasional inquiries turned into a regular flow of questions from people across the planet. It became clear that beyond medical information, people needed the comfort of speaking to a real person who understood their fears.

This realization inspired the creation of Chat GBS.
